Between Dream and Reality.
I love to draw and paint and create.
Surrealism and Fantasy Art, but also Portraits of all kind and many Portraits also of Celebrities to hone my techniques and mediums. I love to experiment with new techniques and mediums and what better way than use them with my passion for Portraits of Celebrities.
Portraits of Celebrities. One celebrity I love to draw is Robert Downey Jr.
I just made this one of Robert Downey Jr. with a colored Iron Man beside his characterization of Tony Stark. I really love to draw him as he has a very captivating and expressive face. Doesn't matter what age he is. He is for me a fascinating subject. Was supposed to be a simple pencil drawing, but got caught up with his eyes so the rest had to be according to them, then while drawing it just wanted to have the beard of Tony Stark, so I put it on and sure then I had to change his hair style as well to an Iron Man one, and as I was changing anything anyway put him in that cool leather jacket he used in Iron Man. The right side seemed a bit lonely and so I thought to put an Iron Man there. It was supposed to be b&W, but as you can see it wanted to be colored. grins. I never argue with my muse. Size is A3.
In this one I just wanted a Portrait of RDJ. Size is A4, and I made the whole with a 2B pencil.
This one is a sketch of RDJ when he was younger. I added the hands as I just was feeling like it.
An even younger RDJ in a sketch, as this paper I used does not allow to get into great details but is excellent for sketching. Size A4.
Felt like using some ink in this one. An old-fashioned dip-pen and a brush for the large black areas.
Again I used an old-fashioned ink dip-pen and then water for some areas which is called ink-wash.
